Graterford Inmate Found Dead In His Cell

GRATERFORD STATE PRISON, PA -- A Graterford inmate was found dead in his cell late Tuesday night, officials said.

Patrick Henry, 41, was found unresponsive in his cell at 11:48 p.m., according to authorities.

Prison staff attempted "life-saving measures" until medical staff arrived, but Henry was pronounced dead at midnight.

Prison officials said that a cause of death is pending an examination from the Montgomery County coroner. The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.

Henry was in the midst of serving seven to 14 years on arson charges in Lawrence County.
