Recent Burglaries Prompt Increased Police Patrols In Newtown, Wrightstown
If you see more police than usual in your neighborhood, don't be alarmed -- officers are stepping up patrols due to recent burglaries.
Newtown Township Police say they are stepping up patrols on Jane Chapman Drive’s East and West due to recent burglaries.
According to police, the increased patrols will also be done in other developments in both Newtown and Wrightstown townships.
"Don’t be alarmed by the extra police presence," police said via Facebook.

Anyone who sees something suspicious should call 911.
Further details on the burglaries were not released, however, police reported earlier this week a K9 unit was called to Jane Chapman Dr. after an alarm activated due to a broken window.

Jane Chapman Dr is located off Rt. 413 in Wrightstown.
