This is the third time the university has been touched by death this year, and in close succession. On Oct. 29, TSU student Jordin Taylor, 20, was killed after being struck by a bus and dragged some 500 feet. Her body was discovered wedged under the bus the next day when a mechanic was dispatched for repairs.
Earlier, a man who died at the Metropolitan Apartments student housing was found dead, although university officials later confirmed he was not a Texas State University student.
