Roy Moore's Spelling Error Becomes Web Link For Democrat Doug Jones

Senate candidate Roy Moore's spelling error on his campaign bus has become a link to the Doug Jones website.

MONTGOMERY, AL - Alabama's Republican senate candidates Roy Moore and Luther Strange have been turning up the volume on their campaigns as Tuesday's run-off nears. Strange held a rally in Huntsville Friday with Pres. Donald Trump on hand to sing his praises. Moore and Strange flooded local television broadcasts - namely Alabama and Auburn football games - with campaign ads. But a spelling mistake that adorned Moore's campaign bus has become a campaign tool for Democratic candidate Doug Jones.

Moore's traveling campaign ad said, "Alabama Derserves Moore," complete with a web address alabamaderservesmoore.com. AT least someone in the Jones camp jumped quickly on Moore's public spelling error by taking the misspelled domain name and linking it to the Doug Jones campaign website.

Although no one from the Doug Jones campaign has officially claimed that they actually purchased the domain name, it does redirect to the Doug Jones site. The Moore campaign has since placed a sticker over the misspelled website name.
