1 Dead, 3 Injured After Shooting In West Jefferson County
A deadly shooting near Hueytown over the weekend left a teenager dead and three other victims hospitalized.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A homicide investigation is under way after a shooting in Jefferson County over the weekend. One victim was pronounced dead and three others injured in the shooting Saturday, which occurred near Hueytown in the area of Allison Bonnet Memorial Drive and Rutledge Drive.
Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said deputies found four victims suffering gunshot wounds just before 7 a.m.. One of the victims, 15-year-old Pharrell Devion Jackson of Bessemer, was pronounced dead on the scene and the other three were taken to a nearby hospital.
Their conditions are unknown.
