1 Dead After Drive-By Shooting In West Birmingham

A shooting Wednesday night on Roberts Street in west Birmingham resulted in a fatality.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — One victim is dead after a shooting Tuesday evening in west Birmingham. The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. at 1631 Roberts Street.

Officer Truman Fitzgerald of the Birmingham Police Department said the preliminary investigation suggests an unknown suspect began firing shots from a vehicle striking 64-year-old Ronnie Graham in the upper body. Graham was taken to UAB Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Truman said police have no suspects in custody at this time. Anyone with any information on this case is asked to contact the Birmingham Police Department at 205-254-1764.
