Police Use Stun Gun On 13-Year-Old During Altercation
Police used a stun gun on an 13-year-old boy when they thought he was reaching for a gun.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - An altercation between a 13-year-old boy and police officers outside Green Acres Middle School in Ensley resulted in police using a stun gun on the boy when officers thought he was reaching for a gun. Police did find a .38 revolver on the boy when he was searched.
A report by WIAT said the boy has been taken to Children's of Alabama for observation but he appears to have no injuries.
According to WIAT, the child is a Department of Human Resources runaway from Woodstock, and his case will be handled in the juvenile court system.
