2 Killed , 2 Injured In Birmingham Crash
Two people were killed on Memorial Day morning in a crash that shut down portions of Oporto Madrid Boulevard in Birmingham.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — Two people were killed Monday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on Oporto Madrid Boulevard in Birmingham.
Paramedics transported at least two additional victims in serious condition to nearby hospitals, but Birmingham police officials were unable to say how many additional victims there were as of Monday morning.
The crash occurred at 10:55 a.m. Monday, forcing the partial closures of Oporto Madrid Boulevard, Sunrise Drive and a Georgia Road, according to a Birmingham Police Department dispatcher.
