2 Police Chases In 2 Week Results In Arrest Of Teen
A 19-year-old man who led police on two separate chases in the last two weeks has been arrested.

PLEASANT GROVE, AL — A 19-year-old has been arrested after he reportedly led police on two separate chases in the last two weeks. Kenneth Jaleel Miller is being held in the Pleasant Grove City Jail pending formal warrants and transfer to Jefferson County.
On Friday, Oct. 11, Pleasant Grove police received a missing person report on an 18-year-old female who is reportedly mentally challenged. As officers were searching for her, she was spotted in a stolen vehicle in Fairfield, according to an Alabama Media Group report.
Miller allegedly fled the scene when police arrived, hitting a police vehicle before leading police on a chase on I-59/20. Law enforcement called off the chase when Miller's driving became erratic, reports say.

On Thursday, Oct. 24, officers reportedly spotted Miller again in Pleasant Grove in another stolen vehicle. Miller then allegedly led police on another chase before wrecking in McDonald Chapel and fleeing on foot. He was eventually apprehended with the assistance of Birmingham police and the Jefferson County Sheriff's office.
Miller was reportedly in possession of a stolen and loaded Glock 9mm pistol at the time of his capture. He will be charged with first-degree receiving stolen property, second-degree receiving stolen property, reckless endangerment and attempting to elude police.

Miller was already on bond for first-degree robbery out of Butler County.
