2 Shot At Metro PCS Store On Green Springs Ave.
A suspect was captured by police after two women were shot at a Metro PCS store on Green Springs Avenue.
BIRMINGHAM, AL - Two women have been taken to the hospital after being shot inside a Metro PCS store in Birmingham Monday.A suspect in the case was captured about two hours later after a foot chase that took the alleged gunman and a team of police officers across busy Interstate 65 during evening rush-hour traffic.
The shooting occurred on Green Springs Avenue, and witnesses said they saw a man enter the store, then commotion followed.

One woman was shot three times - in the ankle, thigh and left part of her torso - and the other was shot twice, in the arm or wrist area. One woman is said to have potentially fatal injuries.
