5-Year-Old Child Shot In Jefferson County
A child was shot in Forestdale early Saturday morning. Investigators are trying to determine the details surrounding the shooting.
FORESTDALE, AL — A 5-year-old child was shot in Jefferson County early Saturday morning in an incident that occurred in the 1400 block of Cherry Avenue in Forestdale.
Deputy Chief David Agee of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the child's brother called in the report of the shooting just after 1 a.m. Saturday.
Agee said the child was transported to the hospital and appeared to be stable condition.
