AL Supreme Court Republican Primary: Shaw Projected Winner
Incumbent Greg Shaw is the projected winner in the GOP primary for Supreme Court.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — One of a bevy of public offices up for grabs Tuesday was Place 1 on the Alabama Supreme Court. Although incumbent Greg Shaw led all night, his lead did not reach a point where the race could be called until lat in the evening.
Shaw has served on the Supreme Court in Alabama since 2008. He practiced law in St. Clair County before serving on the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals and the Alabama Court of the Judiciary.
Ward, who made headlines nationally last year with his push of Alabama's anti-abortion bill, was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 2002-2010, and has been a member of the Alabama Senate since 2010.
