Alabama Power Gives Grants To 4 Local Non-Profits
The 2018-2019 recipients of Alabama Power's Elevate grants will each receive a $17,500 grant.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Four Alabama nonprofits have received more resources to address needs in their communities through Alabama Power's Elevate grants. The program provides support to these organizations through funding for community projects, capacity-building workshops and networking opportunities. The 2018-2019 recipients will each receive a $17,500 grant.
The organizations receiving these grants are:
• One Place Metro Alabama Family Justice Center - Birmingham

• United Way of Southwest Alabama – Mobile

“Through these Elevate grants, we empower organizations to serve, and in turn, they help strengthen our communities,” said Myla Calhoun, president of the Alabama Power Foundation. “By partnering with these organizations, we’re able to address some of the community’s most pressing needs.”
