Amazon To Hire 1,500 Workers In Bessemer

BESSEMER, AL — Online retail giant Amazon looks to fill 1,500 full time positions at its Bessemer fulfillment center. A Birmingham Business Journal report said the positions will pay at least $15 an hour and come with an array of benefits.

The announcement of the center's opening came in 2018 and ground broke on the 855,000-square-foot center in October of 2018.
