The Alabama Minority Business Development Agency will have an open house on Jan. 13 at 11 a.m., where attendees can tour the center, meet staff, network with other minority-owned business members, and learn about their services. - Birmingham schools add reading and math tutors as part of a $29.5 million learning loss push. Leaders say this is an innovative way to provide extra instruction and critical mentoring to students. (AL.com)
