Aniah Blanchard Memorial Planned For Saturday In Birmingham
A memorial and celebration of the life of 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard of Homewood is planned for Saturday.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A memorial and celebration of the life of 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard has been scheduled for Saturday at 12 p.m. at Faith Chapel in Birmingham. Blanchard, who was reported missing from Auburn Oct. 23, was found dead in Macon County a month after her disappearance. Three suspects have been arrested in connection with her disappearance and death.
The ceremony will be open to the public and will be streamed live. Faith Chapel is located at at 100 Mike Moore Boulevard.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Aniah’s name to the following agencies: Texas Equusearch Mounted Search and Recovery , Children’s Hospital of Alabama or the Greater Birmingham Humane Society in honor of her beloved dog, "Bloo."
