Argument Leads To Shooting In Fairfield: Sheriff
A shooting Monday night in Fairfield is under investigation by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — An argument between two people in Fairfield Monday night escalated into a shooting, according to Jefferson County Sheriff's Office investigators.
Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the incident occurred just after 8 p.m. Monday in the 4900 block of Farrell Avenue in Fairfield. A 19-year-old man was shot and taken to a nearby hospital with wound that do not appear to be life-threatening.
No arrests have been made and the incident is still under investigation.
