Arrests Made In Deadly September Shooting In Birmingham
Two men have been arrested in the shooting death of Michael Alexander McGee Sept. 27 in North Birmingham.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Birmingham police have arrested to men in the Sept. 27 shooting death of 42-year-old Michael Alexander McGee. Curtis Sanders, 51, and Joshua Sanders, 18 have been charged with murder.
The incident occurred in the 3700 block of 42nd Street North. Police said a dispute occurred over parking spaces just before 2 p.m. that day prior to shots being fired, resulting in three people being shot. All of the wounded victims were taken to UAB Hospital. McGee was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at UAB.
On January 14, police obtained warrants for Curtis and Joshua Sanders, according to Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department. The men were arrested Monday and remain in Jefferson County Jail on $60,000 bond each.
