Atlanta-Based All-Day Breakfast Chain Coming To Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A popular all-day breakfast restaurant chain based in Atlanta is coming soon to Birmingham. The Flying Biscuit Cafe is expected to open on Colonnade Parkway in early fall this year.

The company announced the opening this week, which will be the 20th Flying Biscuit restaurant in the country.

"We are extremely excited to bring the Flying Biscuit Café to Alabama,” said Gregory Yund, the franchise owner of the Birmingham location. Yund and his family feel the Flying Biscuit is the perfect addition to the Birmingham dining scene. “My dad and I have always wanted to own a restaurant together. We expect the combination of quality food for breakfast, lunch and dinner with the unique character of The Flying Biscuit Café to be a real hit here in Birmingham.”

Since first opening its doors in 1993, the Flying Biscuit Café has become known for its expansive menu featuring Southern comfort food and breakfast all day, including The High Flyer, Shrimp and Grits, and Not Your Mama’s Pimiento Cheese. In addition, the restaurant provides a comfortable atmosphere, ideal for guests looking for a quick bite or a relaxed dining experience.

This location will launch our new expanded dinner menu that will include fan favorites such as chicken and waffles and a full bar, offering several unique and classic breakfast cocktails.”

The Birmingham location will open its doors for business early fall and is located at 3419 Colonnade Pkwy., Suite 100. Operating hours are 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. 7 days a week.
