Auburn Loses One Of Its Biggest Fans In Tragic Accident

Tammy Renae Bullard and her 3-year-old granddaughter died Friday in an auto accident on Highway 280.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Anyone who has listened to the Paul Finebaum Show at all over the last decade likely knows "Tammy," the Auburn fanatic who was known for stirring up heated discussions on the national talk show between Auburn and Alabama fans. Friday morning, Tammy Renae Bullard and her 3-year-old granddaughter died in a car accident on U.S. 280 between Sylacauga and Childersburg.

Alabama State Trooper reports said a commercial vehicle carrying an explosive material was traveling eastbound when the truck overturned on its side and veered into oncoming traffic in the westbound lane and collided with an SUV carrying Bullard and her granddaughter.

Bullard was a long-time caller to the Finebaum Show before the show was picked up by ESPN Radio and broadcast nationally. That was when Bullard went from local Auburn fan to national radio personality.
