BESSEMER, AL — Police have arrested a suspect in a shooting that occurred just after 8 p.m. Friday outside a business in Bessemer on Greenwood Parkway just off Interstate 459. An Alabama Media Group report said Te’Corrius Gilbert, an employee at the company, was involved in an altercation with Cornelius Fuller and shot him several times.

Fuller has undergone multiple surgeries for his wounds over the weekend, according to al.com.

Gilbert has been charged with attempted murder and shooting into an unoccupied vehicle.
