Birmingham Area High School Football Scores 2020: Week 6

BIRMINGHAM, AL — High School football in Alabama has reached the midway point in the season for 2020, and the season has reflected the strange circumstances the entire state has endured during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This week, Helena's game with McAdory has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns with Helena, but the Birmingham metro has a full slate of games Friday nonetheless.

Notable games this week in the area include a battle of top-ranked teams as 6A no. 1 Mountain Brook plays 7A no. 1 Thompson. Another inter-class match-up to watch is undefeated 5A power Ramsay facing Pinson Valley, currently ranked third in 6A.

Other area games include Gardendale hosting Shades Valley, Hoover taking on Prattville and Midfield hosting Tarrant.
