Birmingham Area High School Football Scores 2020: Week 8

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The expectation of severe weather from Hurricane Delta has forced many area schools to move their Friday night games to Thursday. Most of the gridiron action in the Birmingham metro will take place Thursday night.

In Class 7A games, a crosstown battle takes place between Hoover and Spain Park; Vestavia Hills hosts Hewitt-Trussville; and Oak Mountain Travels to Tuscaloosa County.

In other area action, Clay-Chalkville takes on Mortimer Jordan, Huffman travels to Chelsea and Homewood hosts Shades Valley, among other match-ups Thursday night.
