Birmingham Barons: First Homestand Of 2019 This Week

BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Birmingham Barons began their 2019 season on the road in Biloxi, but will be home at Regions Field Wednesday, April 10 for a five-game series with the Tennessee Smokies. The Barons are 1-3 heading into their opening homestand.

The homestand features a 2019 Magnet Schedule giveaway, Thirsty Thursday, Fireworks Friday, a Zooperstars appearance, and Family Sunday featuring an Autism Friendly game at Regions Field.

Wednesday's home opener begins at 7:05 p.m., and features a 2019 Magnet Schedule giveaway. Thursday night's game also begins at 7:05 p.m. and as part of Thirsty Thursday, fans can enjoy $2 beer, wine, and soft drinks. Friday's game - also a 7:05 start - features post-game fireworks.

Saturday features the world-famous ZOOperstars, one of the most popular acts in sports entertainment, and at Sunday's 4 p.m., game the first 500 fans in attendance at tonight's game will receive a Regions Bank squishy baseball.
