Birmingham Barons Set National Anthem Auditions

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Birmingham Barons will open their 2020 season in just a few weeks. And what is a baseball game without the singing of the national anthem before the first pitch? That is why the Barons are holding auditions for singers of "The Star Spangled Banner" for the coming season.

The Barons will host auditions at Regions Field Monday, March 16, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. All interested performers are invited to give their best anthem rendition for the opportunity to sing at a Barons home game this season.

Candidates will have the opportunity to perform on a first-come, first serve basis with registration being capped at 125 participants. Performers should arrive no later than 6 p.m.
