Birmingham City Offices Closed, Will Open Dec. 2

Birmingham municipal offices will close Wednesday at 2 p.m. for Thanksgiving, and will remain closed until Dec. 2.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — As Thanksgiving approaches, the City of Birmingham will close all municipal offices at 2 p.m. Wednesday and re-open Dec. 2. This includes City Hall, license offices and public works.

As well, there will be no household garbage pickup nor bulk trash pickup on Thanksgiving Day and Friday. Makeup days for bulk trash pickup can be found here.

Jefferson County offices will also be closed Thursday and Friday this week, re-opening Monday.
