Birmingham Furniture Store Murder: New Trial Set For 2020

A new trial has been set for Wesley Conor, accused of stabbing a man to death at Birmingham Whole Sale Furniture store.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A the murder trial of 30-year-old Wesley Conor — accused of stabbing a man to death in a Birmingham furniture store in August of 2018 — has been moved to 2020 after his trial ended in a mistrial last week. Alabama Media Group said in a report that Conor's case ended in a deadlocked jury.

Conor is charged with killing 22-year-old Ladaniel Willis Aug. 4, 2018 in the break room of Birmingham Wholesale Furniture at 2200 Second Ave. South.

He was arrested Aug. 8 and released on bond. Conor's new trial is set for Jan. 27, 2020.
