BIRMINGHAM, AL — The state championship games for Alabama high school football take place this week, and a couple of Birmingham area schools are in the hunt for a championship.
Thompson plays Central-Phenix City Wednesday, and Pleasant Grove plays Central-Clay County Thursday.
