Birmingham Man Killed In Wednesday Afternoon Shooting
A 32-year-old man died in a shooting Wednesday on 66th Courtway South.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A shooting Wednesday afternoon resulted in the death of a 32-year-old Birmingham man. The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. on 66th Courtway South.
Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department said officers responded to a report of multiple shots fired in the area and found Cadarius Killian unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Mauldin said the preliminary investigation suggests that the incident was the result if a retaliation for previous illegal activity, but no suspects are in custody.
