Birmingham To Open Farmers Market At Intermodal Facility
Birmingham will receive a Healthy Food Financing Program Grant to help establish a farmers' market at the new Intermodal Facility.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - The City of Birmingham will receive a $143,000 Healthy Food Financing Program Grant to help establish a farmers’ market at the new Birmingham Intermodal Facility, which is where MAX buses, Greyhound and Amtrak are based.

The city is expected to receive the grant Wednesday, April 4, and more information on the farmers' market will be announced by the city after it receives the grant.
