The Birmingham Police Department’s Community Outreach & Public Education Division is hosting multiple events for the month of April to educate the public on very important topics of prevention. A virtual seminar, SPEAK OUT AGAINST SEXUAL ASSAULT will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. via the Birmingham Police Department’s Facebook Page @ https://www.facebook.com//bhampolice/.

On April 24, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., The Birmingham Police Department’s Community Outreach & Public Education Division in Partnership with the Drug Enforcement Agency and Addiction Prevention Coalition will be hosting a DRUG TAKE BACK DAY. The National Drug Take Back Day mission is for individuals to properly dispose of leftover and unused prescription drugs and vapes.

South Precinct- 1320 19th Street South
West Precinct- 2236 47th Street Ensley

The Birmingham Police Department and the Special Victim’s Unit in partnership with Prescott House, Exchange Club and Children’s Hospital Intervention and Prevention Services will host a CHILD ABUSE AWARENESS VIRTUAL SEMINAR on April 27, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The seminar will be available for viewing on the Birmingham Police Department’s Facebook Page @ https://www.facebook.com//bhampolice/. This seminar will cover topics of child abuse definitions, laws, and resources available.
