The missing person has been identified as:
Onelia Soraida Alavez Gonzalez, (26), H/F, of Birmingham, Alabama.

Onelia Soraida Alavez Gonzalez was last seen on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at around 7:00 a.m. by a family member. She was last seen in the 1100 block of 14th Avenue South; she sometimes walks in the area, but she has always returned.
Her last known clothing description is the following: white t-shirt and white jeans.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating this case as a Critical Missing Person Investigation due to the fact Onelia Soraida Alavez Gonzalez suffers from a mental condition that affects her judgment and behavior.
