Critical Missing Person Investigation

The Birmingham Police Department reports detectives are conducting a critical missing person’s investigation. The Birmingham Police Department requests assistance from the public on locating the subject in the attached photo.

The missing person has been identified as:

Turner Alan Burks, (37), W/M, of Mountain Brook, Alabama 5’10’’ 250 pounds.

Turner Alan Burks was last seen on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at around 4:00 p.m.; he was traveling on foot in the 700 block of 19th Street South.

His last known clothing description is the following: grey shirt and grey sweatpants.

 The Birmingham Police Department is investigating this case as a Critical Missing Persons Investigation due to the fact Turner Alan Burks suffers from a mental condition that affects his judgment and behavior.
