The Birmingham Police Department reports detectives are conducting a hit-and-run investigation. Detectives requests assistance from the public in identifying a person of interest in the attached videos.

On Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at approximately 2:15 AM an unknown black male (seen in the three videos) parked his Black Hummer at Pump 5 of the Chevron (229 Gadsden Highway). He proceeded to enter the Chevron and make a purchase.
When he returned to his vehicle and drove away he hit a pedestrian who was walking through the parking lot. The suspect then drove away from the location without stopping. The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
