The Birmingham Police Department reports detectives are conducting a robbery investigation. Detectives request assistance from the public in identifying a person of interest in the attached photo.

On Thursday, May 20, 2021, at around 9:40 P.M, the Family Dollar located at 3124 Alameda Avenue was robbed by two unknown black males dressed in all black, one of the males was wearing a green ski mask and the other was wearing a black ski mask. One of the males was armed with a handgun. The suspects took an unknown amount of currency and fled the location.
If there is anyone with information on the identity of the suspect, we ask that they contact BPD Robbery Detectives at 205-254-1753 or remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777. If the tip to Crime Stoppers leads to an arrest, Crime Stoppers will provide a cash reward.
