Birmingham Police Investigating Homicide In Midfield
The Birmingham Police are investigating a homicide that took place Tuesay in Midfield.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Birmingham Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place in Midfield Tuesday morning at approximately 2 a.m.
According to BPD, officers from the West Precinct responded to a report of someone being shot at S.J. Bennett Drive in Midfield. When they arrived at the scene, officers discovered Curlie Jamal Burns, 22, lying on the sidewalk with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

No suspects have been brought in, as police continue to investigate the case. The BPD asks that anyone with information call the BPD Homicide Unit at 205-254-1764.
