Birmingham Police Investigating Morning Shooting

A shooting in Birmingham's West side resulted in a victim being shot in the face.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A shooting that took place early Monday morning resulted in a victim being shot in the face. The Birmingham Police Department is currently investigating the incident.

The shooting occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on the 1300 block of Oakland Avenue, according to a report by Alabama Media Group.
