Birmingham Police Officers Injured During High Speed Pursuit
Three police officers were injured as a result of a crash while pursuing a stolen vehicle Tuesday.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — Three Birmingham police officers sustained injuries when their police cruisers crashed during the pursuit of a stolen vehicle Tuesday. Two people are in custody after the chase.
Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department said two patrol cars collided in the 1400 block of Martin Luther King Junior Drive while they were chasing the stolen vehicle. Mauldin said the officers's injuries are not life-threatening.
