BPL Library Giving Day On April 7 To Include Food Trucks, Friends Bookstore Sale At Central Library
Proceeds will benefit library programming, databases and new materials at BPL's 18 locations.

Want to take advantage of great book deals and buy tasty meals and snacks from a dozen food trucks at the same time and place? Then make plans to be at the Central Library, 2100 Park Place in downtown Birmingham, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. this Wednesday, April, 7.

The food trucks and Friends of BPL Bookstore sale are a part of the Birmingham Public Library's participation in Library Giving Day (#LibraryGivingDay), a one-day event taking place nationally to highlight the important role libraries play in our communities.
In addition to donating to BPL on our website and the Friends of the Birmingham Public library website, the public is invited to support BPL by coming down on Wednesday and buying great food as well as taking advantage of a "grab a bag" sale that includes books on a variety of topics in the Central Library parking lot. Proceeds will benefit library programming, databases and new materials at BPL's 18 locations.
