Brighton Homicide Suspect Arrested
A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a weekend shooting death in Brighton.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — An arrest has been made in connection with a shooting death on Brighton Friday. Vijay Ramure Lipscomb, 32, has been arrested and charged with the murder of 27 year old Cadarius Munford, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's office.
Deputy Chief David Agee said the incident occurred on Water Street in Brighton Friday night.
Lipscomb was arrested Sunday and is charged with murder, certain Persons forbidden to possess firearm and failure to appear felony.
