Child Dies After Being Found Unresponsive In Bathtub
An 18-month-old girl found unresponsive in a bathtub in Birmingham has died.
BIRMINGHAM, AL -- Police are investigating an incident in Birmingham's Mountaindale neighborhood in which a toddler was reportedly found unresponsive in a home on Warren Road.
Birmingham police on the scene said the 18-month old girl was found submerged in water in the bathtub, and was taken to Children's of Alabama, where the toddler died Thursday morning at approximately 9 a.m.
Police say no foul play is suspected, and police are investigating it as an accident.
