Does Alabama Owe You Money? Find Out Here

Alabama's Unclaimed Property site lets residents know if money is owed to them.

MONTGOMERY, AL - With Christmas just around the corner, many Alabamians may be looking for some extra cash. Some people are taking on part time jobs, some are dipping into savings accounts, and others might actually get some extra money from the Alabama Department of Treasury.

Through the state's Unclaimed Property Division website, Alabama residents can find out if money is owed to them by following a few simple steps.

To search for funds, you enter a name in the name/business field - a specific order is not required (last name, first name, business name, etc.). To narrow your search results, enter a city or zip code.
