Double Shooting In Hueytown: Suspect Identified

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Two people have been hospitalized and one person is being sought by police after a shooting in Hueytown early Thursday morning. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Blue Creek Inn Road off Johns Road.

The male victim was shot multiple times, and the female victim was shot once. Both were taken by medics to UAB Hospital’s Trauma Center. A report by Alabama Media Group said both victims were talking when they left the scene.

Police day they have identified the suspect, but he is not in custody yet. Police have not determined a motive, and have not said what the relationship is between the suspect and the victims.
