Drive-By Shooting In Tarrant: 2 Teen Suspects Charged
Nearly 60 shots were reportedly fired in a drive-by shooting in Tarrant Monday night.
TARRANT, AL — Nearly 60 shots were reportedly fired during a drive-by shooting Monday night in Tarrant. Two suspects are in custody after the incident.
According to an Alabama Media Group report, suspects fired into a home on Prosch Avenue in Tarrant. No one was injured, but roughly 58 shots were fired.
Tarrant police tried to pull over the suspects on Thomason Avenue, but police say that when officers exited the car, the suspects tried to run over the officers with their car.

A chase followed, ending on Southwood Avenue near Zion City Road in Birmingham when the suspects crashed into a mailbox in a neighborhood. Both suspects were taken into custody without further incident.
Police said they recovered multiple weapons from the vehicle.

Tarrant police on Wednesday announced charges against Keondre Marquise McGhee, 19, and Jatrell Demond Clark, 18.
McGhee is charged with four counts of attempted murder stemming from the drive-by shooting and the attempts to run over the officers, said Det. James Butterbrodt. He also is charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling and shooting into an unoccupied vehicle. His bonds total $235,000.
Clark is charged with three counts of attempted murder stemming from the drive by shooting, shooting into an occupied dwelling, and shooting into an unoccupied vehicle. His total bond has been set at $160,000.
