Easter Events To Check Out In Birmingham
There are several events for families to attend to celebrate Easter in Birmingham this year.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Easter is just a few weeks away, and there is no shortage of family events in the Birmingham area to celebrate. This year, Easter falls on April 21, but there are several events in the area even before Easter Sunday.
Here are just a few of the events planned in and around Birmingham in the coming weeks:
Saturday, April 6:

BSC Easter Egg Hunt; Birmingham-Southern College, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Join BSC on April 6 for egg hunting, face painting, a bounce house, and more. The Easter Bunny will also be on hand for photos and high-fives.
Oak Mountain Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Market; Oak Mountain State Park, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.: More than 25,000 filled eggs are ready to be hunted - some eggs have candy, some have stickers, some have toys. Events include hay rides, pony rides, corn hole games, two giant checkers sets and two giant tic tac toe boards. Also, local craftsman, artisans, boutiques, bakeries, brand reps and more will be set up and selling Easter and spring-themed goodies.

Overton Park Easter Egg Hunt; Overton Park, Mountain Brook, 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.: Bring your children for an hour of fun to celebrate Easter with an egg hunt, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, face-painting, a cake walk and more.
Saturday, April 13:
Samford Family Easter Egg Hunt; Samford University, 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: Cumberland School of Law alumni are invited to attend the Samford University Alumni Association's annual Samford Family Easter Egg Hunt on campus.
Sunday, April 14:
Easter Eggstravaganza; First Christian Church, 4954 Valleydale Road, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.: Bring the whole family for a fun afternoon of inflatables, games, food, a giant Easter egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Thursday, April 18:
Mayor’s Easter Egg Hunt; W.C. Patton Park, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.: The event includes an egg hunt, train ride and arts and crafts for kids.
Friday, April 19:
Trussville Easter Egg Hunt; 7660 Gadsden Highway, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.: Featuring 20,000 Easter Eggs, bounce houses, food and games. The event is completely free for everyone. The Easter Egg Hunt is age specific (Ages 0-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11). Registration is required for this event.
Saturday, April 20:
Avondale Easter Egg Hunt; 4941 10th Ct S, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.: The annual Easter Egg Hunt at the home of Henry Levens and Randy Thomas features food, hunting eggs and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
