Elderly Jefferson County Man Reported Missing
Authorities are searching for a 76-year-old man with dementia, who left his home Tuesday night.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A 76-year-old man who is reported to suffer from dementia is missing from his Birmingham home. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said Louis Betancourt left his home sometime between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m.
Betancourt is legally blind in one eye.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a missing person with dementia. Louis Betacourt is a 76 yro male who left his home on 10/22/19 enroute to Florida or Illinois. He is driving a red Nissan Altima bearing tag 1CZ9985. Contact us at (205) 325-1450 if seen.
