UAB Football one of ESPN College Football Analyst's Top Performers

ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit named the UAB football team among his top performers of the first week of college football.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - The return of UAB football after a two year hiatus was met with overwhelming supportand enthusiasm in Birmingham, and the state and local press have praised the Blazers for their triumphant return to the gridiron. But UAB is getting attention on a national scale as well, as ESPN's long-time college football analyst and host of College Gameday listed the Blazers among his top performers for the week in all of college football.

Herbstreit picks his top teams every week via his social media, and sent a tweet Tuesday night naming UAM one of his top performers, along with Michigan, UCLA, Maryland and Cal.
