Fairfield Woman And Her Son Found Dead

FAIRFIELD, AL - A woman and her son were found dead Monday morning at their Fairfield home. Fairfield police and fire medics responded to a home in the 200 block of 57th Street shortly after 6 a.m.

The two victims were pronounced dead on the scene. A report by Alabama Media Group said both deaths are being investigated as a homicide. The adult male was found in front yard, and the woman was found in the doorway.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said there was evidence of a shooting at the scene.
