Families Sought For 3 People Who Have Died In Jefferson County
Three people died last few weeks in Jefferson County whose families have not been located.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL -- Three people have died in recent weeks in Jefferson County whose families have not been located. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office is trying to locate family members of Mary Johnson Bonner, 92; Angela Arnez Cheeks, 52; and Mitchell Morris Guthrie, 70.
Bonner died Sept. 15 at Arlington Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in west Birmingham. She previously lived in the 1700 block of First Place South in south Titusville near George Ward Park.
Cheeks was found Oct. 1 unresponsive on the floor of her bedroom at the board home where she lived in the 300 block of 13th Street in Pleasant Grove. previously lived in the 1300 block of 15th Street S.W.

Guthrie was found dead Oct. 1 inside his residence in the 200 block of 66th Place North. Coroner’s officials said Guthrie’s mother is dead, as is one of his brothers.
An Alabama Media Group report said law enforcement has ruled out foul play in all of these deaths, and the coroner asks that any family members contact the Jefferson County Coroner's Office at 205-930-3603.
