Fatal Stabbing In Ensley Under Investigation

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Birmingham police have two people in custody after a fatal stabbing inside a home in Ensley Saturday night. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 3000 block of 17th Street.

Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department said a victim was found in the living room of the home with stab wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Mauldin said police detained two people of interest for questioning.
